Massotina RDO 2019 has been voted 'Best Prosecco' at giant Decanter World Wine Awards twice in the last decade, its charms undeniable. This Prosecco Superiore, in particular, comes from the revered (unofficial) grand cru of 'Le Rive di Ogliano' with the revered east facing slope equivalent to the hill of Corton (if you're looking for a comparison). And the wine? Well, it's stunning. An extra-dry style, there's a tension here between light, lemon drop sweet fruit and then a cascading wall of cleansing acidity, all making for a quintessentially refreshing sparkling wine. 95/100
